This Privacy Policy describes how Away Game collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: phone number, email address, name, date of birth.
• Profile information: photos, bio, interests, travel preferences, home city.
• Identity verification: government-ID photo and selfie processed by our verification partner.
• Location: approximate location when discovering travelers and your declared travel destinations.
• Usage data: matches, messages, profile views, and feature interactions.
• Device data: device identifier, model, OS version, and crash diagnostics.

2. How we use your information

• To create and operate your account.
• To match you with other travelers based on your preferences and itinerary.
• To verify your identity and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To send service-related notifications (matches, messages, subscription updates).
• To improve the Service and develop new features.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-party processors

We share data with the following service providers strictly to operate the Service. Each processor's privacy practices are governed by their own terms.

• Persona — identity verification.
• Apple — sign in with Apple, subscription billing, push notifications.
• Twilio — SMS one-time passcodes.
• Amazon Web Services — hosting and infrastructure.
• RevenueCat — subscription state management.
• Sentry — crash and error diagnostics.

4. Your choices and rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. You can manage many of these directly in the app under Settings → Privacy, or contact us at the address below for assistance.

5. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, to comply with our financial-record obligations).

6. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it.
