Community Guidelines
Away Game exists to help travelers meet new people in the places they're
going. These Guidelines describe what we expect from every member of the
community and what's off-limits.
Be respectful
Treat every member with respect — regardless of background, identity, or
beliefs.
Lead with curiosity. Asking thoughtful questions is welcomed;
interrogations are not.
Accept "no" gracefully. If someone unmatches, declines a
meet-up, or stops responding, move on.
Be honest
Use real, recent photos of yourself.
Represent your travel plans accurately. If your trip changes, update
your itinerary.
Do not impersonate other people, organizations, or businesses.
Be safe
Meet in public places, especially the first time.
Share your plans with a friend before meeting in person.
Trust your instincts. If something feels off, leave.
Never send money or share financial information with anyone you meet on
Away Game.
Not allowed
The following behavior will result in removal from Away Game and, where
appropriate, reports to law enforcement:
Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
Sexually explicit photos, descriptions, or solicitations.
Romance scams, financial scams, or any attempt to defraud another user.
Solicitation of commercial services (escorting, sex work, MLM,
recruiting).
Sharing another person's private information without their consent.
Using the Service to facilitate illegal activity.
Underage users — Away Game is strictly 18+.
Reporting
Use the Report option on any profile or message to flag a
violation. Our trust-and-safety team reviews every report. Reports are
confidential — the person you report will not see your name or that a
report was filed.
Consequences
Violations are handled on a case-by-case basis. Outcomes range from a
warning, to feature restrictions, to permanent account removal. Serious
violations — especially those involving safety, exploitation, or fraud —
result in immediate removal.
